Round One Pre-Emergent: January and February

Pre-emergent and weed control will keep winter weeds out of your turf.

Round Two Pre-Emergent, UreaFebruary through May

As spring starts getting closer, urea fertilizer is applied to kick start the greening of your turf. Also, another pre-emergent is applied to help keep your yard free of weeds for the spring and thru the summer.

Round Three Nitrogen Fertilizer w/ Phosphorus, Potassium:  April through June

High Nitrogen Fertilizer is applied. The fertilizer also contains phosphorus and potassium for root development.

Round Four Granular Nitrogen Fertilizer: June and July

Since nitrogen is seeped out of the ground quicker than any other element in the turf, another nitrogen fertilizer is applied to maintain the color in the turf throughout the summer.

Round Five Insecticide: July through September

An insecticide is applied to combat Army worms, which develop this time of year and can destroy your yard in days. The application also helps the control of grubs, fleas, ticks, and other insects.

Round Six Pre-Emergent: August through October

This pre-emergent round is applied to keep weeds out of the turf as the previous pre-emergent begin to break down. This treatment also prevents poa annua (bluegrass) from germinating and growing in the spring.

Round Seven Pre-Emergent: October through December

A second Pre-Em is applied to further help with winter weeds and poa annua.

Round Eight Limestone: November and December

Limestone is applied to balance the pH levels and deal with acidity in the turf. Also provides nutrients such as calcium.

FESCUE

Round One Pre-Emergent: January and February

Pre-emergent and weed control will keep winter weeds out of your turf.

Round Two Pre-Emergent, UreaFebruary through May

Urea fertilizer is applied to continue the greening of your turf. Also, another pre-emergent is applied to help keep your yard free of weeds for the spring and thru the summer.

Round Three Fungicide and Iron:  April through June

Fungicide and Iron is applied to help prevent brown patch in fescue.

Round Four Fungicide and Iron: June and July

With the heat of the summer in full force, we apply more fungicide and iron to keep the fescue as healthy as possible.

Round Five Insecticide: July through September

An insecticide is applied to combat Army worms, which develop this time of year and can destroy your yard in days. The application also helps the control of grubs, fleas, ticks, and other insects.

Round Six Limestone: August through October

Round 3: May

Fungicide/Insecticide and Iron: Provides nutrients and protection from insects and diseases such as spidermites, aphids, scales, etc.

Round Four: July

Fungicide/Insecticide and Iron: Provides nutrients and protection from insects and diseases such as lace bugs, webworms, scales, etc.

Round Five: November

Dormant Oil: Control of insects and eggs before winter.
